Embark on one of our 3 hour Scheduled Game Drives with a registered field guide who will convey extensive knowledge on the park and its inhabitants. These game drives will be conducted in open safari vehicles with other guests. Pilanesberg National Park is Malaria free and accommodates virtually every mammal of Southern Africa including the “Big Five” (namely Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant & Buffalo)

Thank you so much to Thato who was driving us around the game reserve. His passion,love and knowledge for the animals at the reserve really showed through. My family was blessed to have him tour us around,we even got to see the lion feeding on the zebra, breath taking views of the sun rise. We requested that Ernest take us on the game drive, as we had a very good game drive with him in 2023. Ernest did not disappoint, we saw a leopard, lion, elephants and rhinos. We saw buffaloes earlier the day, so Big5 spotted the day! We will be back again next year and will request Ernest again, such a gentleman and very knowledgeable.
