Customer Reviews

Great experience, the driver is very good and helful but he speeds a lot, unfortunately his driving CAN POTENTIALLY KILL AN ANIMAL OR A PASSENGER. Otherwise it is a great experience. Thanks - Monica Whiteman

we had a fantastic time with Mankwe GAMETRACKERS. I took my two nephews, 12 and 8, and they had a blast. the guide was very informative, and has a great sense of humor, so we were well entertained. Highly recommend. Another plus was that it was a very small group - aside from the three of us, there were only 2 other visitors on the truck. - Anita Isaac

The driver had a horrible attitude, told us we were going at the wrong time (though it was the only option for our group). I knew it wasn't ideal but he certainly didn't need to lead with that. Throughout the drive he went far too fast to see or enjoy much of anything, even when people shouted out to stop so they could look at an animal he kept going. Overall disappointed in his demeanor, speech, and conduct on the game drive. We did get to see a large group of elephants and that certainly saved the day for the 15 that I brought with me. - Andrew Dodd

I was not fully satisfied as I could only see 4 types of animals for the 3 three hours we drove. That was not the best game drive as I had hoped that by not driving my self as I previously did I could see more game, especially the big 5. Honestly I was disappointed, maybe the time of the day also contributed. - Mpho Modisakeng

Overall a great memorable experience. I booked about a week before via website and email exchange but eventually had to phone to sort out the fine details as I had only once free day out of a Johannesburg hotel and required transfer from and back to the hotel. Email-only communication was not easy. It all turned out fine. My driver Sammy was at the hotel on time to pick me up and drive two hours to the reserve. The vehicle was a very comfortable Hyundai SUV. At the reserve, I had about an hour to wait before the group departure. There is not much to do there and the weather was getting bad. We finally set off and immediately started seeing animals. The guide was good. We managed to do half the ride before the rain and half of it in the rain. That was a bit disappointing as the light for photography was not so good. But the rain and mud added to the adventure sensation. Overall we saw very well two of the big five: elephants and rhinos. And lots of other animals as well. And I made some great photos. I recommend this game drive. It's really good for the price. I wish you better weather. - Kevin Nirsimloo
